The UK’s first ever atheist advertising campaign launches this week, with 800 buses featuring the slogan “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life” running in cities across England, Scotland and Wales, along with 1000 adverts on the London underground and two large LCD screens on Oxford Street. El New York Times publicó el lunes por primera vez un anuncio en portada, en un intento por aumentar sus ingresos por publicidad en esta época de dificultades económicas.
El Times colocaba anuncios en las portadas de su sección de negocios, entre otras, desde 2006, pero la primera página del prestigioso diario es desde ahora un terreno que puede aportar grandes ingresos. El diario no dijo cuanto le puede costar a un anunciante estar en portada.
